Hello, hello, hello, I'm back at last!
I really didn't foresee such a long absence from my lovely little blog, but not only did I run out of steam, so did our Internet. We've had no access for over 5 weeks ... yes FIVE weeks. I didn't know that you could still exist without an Internet connection! Well I can reliably inform you that you can and, bar the odd occasion when it has been reeeally annoying, on the whole it's been rather liberating ... I have been giving the computer a wide berth, as the temptation to pop on and off is just not there without the lure of the Internet. Having said all that, I'm soooo happy it finally seems to be sorted out, fingers crossed ...
Anyhow, just in case there are any more obstacles, I thought I'd better check in to say a quick 'hello'. The problem is I really wasn't expecting it, so consequently, I am completely under-prepared!! In the absence of any plans, I thought I'd share this year's thank you card ... it seems like a good way to say thank you to all the lovely people who have visited me since I started blogging in 2012, and I hope you have all had a rip roaring start to the new year ...
Nellie wears: cable knit cardy (mini Boden), adorable floral dress (PO.P), red roll neck (H&M), pretty in pink tights (Next), Natives (Alex and Alexa)
Elsie wears: fluffy gilet (Monsoon), hotchpotch dress (mini Boden), grape t-shirt (baby Gap), tights to match big sis, the teeniest-weeniest crocs minis (Alex and Alexa)
Freddie wears: stripy t-shirt (Gap kids), woolly cable knit hoody (M&S), skater boy cut offs (John Lewis), skate sneakers (Sketchers)

Hello Emma
ReplyDeleteSo lovely to have you back. I know what you mean about feeling liberated, about a year or so ago(can't remember exactly) we didn't have a connection for about 5/6 weeks and it was a real eye opener as to how much time we waste on the net!!
Happy 2013 to you and yours, may it be filled with light and love and sprinkles of glitter xox Penelope
Your littlies are just perfect, I love all their names. My 92 year old neighbour is called Nellie and we love her so...x
hehe, I love old names, you can probably tell! She's names after both her great-grandmas ... unfortunately they are no longer with us, but they were around when Nellie was younger and they loved that she was named after them :o)

So nice to see you're back :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I think we're all too guilty of spending far too much time online. Whatever did we do before it became part of our lives?
Loving your kiddies. They look fab in their new gear.
Thank you!! Even though our internet is back, I still seem to be taking a more considered approach to blogging ... it feels good xx
DeleteHi, it's my first time to visit your blog :)
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how difficult it is to use the computer without internet connection, no? It's so annoying but then I usually calm and down just think of the positive effect it would do in my life. Hahaha Good thing that your connection is back. Looking forward to your stories ;)
Hehe - yes, my family have had home cooked meals every day this week!!!

So glad to see that you're alive & well! :)
ReplyDeleteFIVE WEEKS!? I can not imagine. I just recently got internet again after not having it for just four days... surprisingly, I handled it quite well. But five weeks!? Yeah -- that would never be okay for me, haha.
Looking forward to catching up with you! Hope all is well. :)
It's great to have you back, Emma! And I echo Latrina's sentiments - I don't think I would've survived five weeks myself. Thanks for sharing with us on your blog, it's always such a treat to visit here.
